I could take about 5 fucking seconds of her "witty banter" before I duct taped her mouth shut and hit her with a ball bat repeatedly.

By the way, I enjoyed Happy-Go-Lucky and loved Sally Hawkins' performance. I think that had she been nominated for an Academy Award, she would have beaten Kate Winslet. But it does seem like a love it or hate it film, as with nearly all of Mike Leigh's films.

If you're saying Daredevil is underrated, I hope you mean the directors cut, 'cause if you do, I agree. The directors cut was actually pretty damn good, with more story and characters. They have a doc on the dvd with the producer and director, and the producer basically said he made the cuts because American audiences don't like intelligence or story, and only care about things blowing up.

Which is how Hollywood probably makes most of it's decisions.

After seeing Transformers 2, I wouldn't be surprised...

I have yet to see the director's cut actually, but I love Daredevil the way i've seen it. Other than Bullseye being the absolute worst character to ever appear in any medium, i thought it was all great.

Typhoid Mary from Elektra is much worse than Bullseye. When comparing the two, Bullseye looks like the freaking Joker.

LOL I think Order of The Phoenix is the best, although Prisoner of Azkaban is very close 2nd. I haven't seen Goblet of Fire since it was in theaters, but I hated it. I think it's the worst one.

My 8th Grade History teacher was an extra in Glory. He taught class in the period costume of whatever historical era we were studying. That guy was cool as hell.

He's played a good cop 1,050 times. The one time he plays a bad cop he's perpetuating negative black stereotypes. There have been films where white people played the same basic character he played in Training Day. Were they perpetuating negative black stereotypes? Many films by black people perpetuate negative stereotypes (IMO) more than this, specifically a film I saw a couple of months by Spike Lee, "Do the Right Thing." There you have guys sitting on their porches, no one wants to work (except Spike Lee who slacks off quite a bit), a guy carries around a large boombox, an old drunk guy, no respect for elders, etc... That doesn't perpetuate negative black stereotypes? I hate stereotypes, but you find them in many films

It came off to me as him playing a (great) bad cop as opposed to say, David Morse in 16 Blocks who was the same basic character but not nearly as good.
