I don't think that Star Trek will hit $300 M, but I believe it has the possibility to. Over 250, under $300 is my guess. Good pick in the full year league.

I think Iron Man appealed to older audiences. I don't think its a film that many whole families went to see like the other two. Normally it was a dad taking a son. I don't think its a film that you take, say, a birthday party of 6 ten year olds to. That's what I was saying.

I understand, I just don't really agree with you. I guess we'll agree to disagree, because I think it is absolutely the type of film that you could take a birthday party of 6-10 year olds too, much like any other super hero movie. Especially if they were mostly young boys.

Only had it on one SL slate, and it was a last second switch, but I put it on April Ultimate and I'm glad I did.

I was so wrong about Star Trek. I wish I had selected it based on Mon/Tues performance.

Star Trek on every slate except round 3 and the super contest unfortunately. Great pick but I think theres so many other good option's that it shouldn't hurt too bad if you dont have it. Its not the slate must have, like dark knight, hanna montana bobw, or 1408 was back in the day.

I don't think there'll be a slate must have this summer. Everything is so congested and the films that look to disappoint are few and far between. It might be August until there are some disappointments.

I drafted GI Joe in the 1st round of the year long draft, so I hope August isn't the bomb month!

Considering Paramount just got nearly 80M OW from Star Trek, they also have the behemoth known as Transformers, and they have another behemoth in Iron Man, I wouldn't worry about G.I. Joe. They'll make it a hit. Very Happy

I dont know how big GI Joe will be, but i doubt that it'll bomb. Paramount seems to be the new Disney, the last few years everyone of their blockbusters has done well.
