Okay. I found it. But I don't GET it. I think I'm #5 on the list of most posters, but I am currently Kirk Lazarus, who is #86. Meanwhile, the admins are all Frank Drebin, #81. Please 'esplain' this to me how this works again?

The rankings are done by your number of posts. I'm currently Lt. Frank Drebin (900-999 posts) so I imagine that Danny Ocean comes when you approach 1,000 posts.

It goes by post count. Once you reach a certain number of posts, you get promoted. Like your first 15 posts you are Napolean Dynamite, next 15, J.J. Gittes, and they keep going up in specific Intervals. Right now you fall into that range of posts.

I see. Though, you, Boussh and surfer are about 60 apart and still all of you are Frank Drebin...

By this scale, it will be a long, LONG time before anyone hits the Top 10. Is it possible for someone to post the number of posts it takes to reach a certain "character"?

I asked Surfer, as he is the one setting it, and he said he wasn't even done setting it up. And yes, it will take someone a loooong time to get there, but that is a good thing. It won't be like on FM where everyone reaches mogul and then now what? We are all the same because there is 100 posts in between promotions. I suggested to Surfer he cut it back to 50, so it won't take quite so long.

I say let it take plenty of time. Where's the fire? The real horserace is between Buscemi and Surfer. We should just force them to do three laps before we reboot the post counts and start off on a new subject.
