4. Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself (Lionsgate) - $10.8 million -54%
5. Love Happens (Universal) - $8.5 million N/A

I thought Buscemi would get a kick out of this... Look at the question in the middle of the page.

I'll slightly change my prediction on Jennifer's Body: $8 million. No more than that. And expect half of that to come from the opening day total. It will drop once people realize that it is a comedy.

And one more thing:

I am very unsure about how this weekend will pan out. I think Jennifer's Body will do pretty well. The Informant! should perform decently. Cloudy will for sure do well. But as usual we will see what happens.

Umm...Meagan Fox won't ever need to do a nude scene. Her in clothes is enough. I mean, a nude scene would be nice...but Audrey Hepburn didn't need a nude scene.

She isn't in the same class as Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Hepburn had talent. Megan Fox only gets work because people want to see her nude.

I was looking at some early reports and it looks like Jennifer's Body will bomb. Most of the crowd reports mentioned auditoriums being only half-filled at best (at night). Afternoon shows were only about 10-25% full. Meanwhile, Love Happens and The Informant were generally 35-50% in the afternoon and more than that at night.

Reports came from Box Office Mojo.

DHD breakdown

1. Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs $8 million for Friday's opening in 3,119 theaters, which bodes well for a $30M debut weekend.

2. The Informant! $3.7M Friday in 2,505 runs for a paltry estimated $11M weekend.

3. Love Happens $3.2M in 1,898 venues. it could be just a $9M weekend.

4. I Can Do Bad By Myself for Lionsgate placed 4th with a $3M Friday (-65% from a week ago) and should get to $9.5M and 3rd by weekend's end.

5. And not even Megan Fox's body could tempt moviegoers into Twentieth's R-rated feminist horror flick Jennifer's Body, DOA with $2.7M Friday from 2,707 dates and it probably will do a pathetic $7M weekend.

6. 9 (Focus) Week 2 [2,060] $1.6M Friday (-51%), Est Wkd $5.5M
7. Inglorious Basterds (Wein/Uni) $1.2M Fri, Est Wkd $4.5M
8. All About Steve (Fox) Week 3 [2,159] $1.1M Fri, Est Wkd $3.5M
9. The Final Destination (Warner) Week 3 [1,805] $1.1M Fri, Est Wkd $3.5M
10. Sorority Row (Summit) Week 2 [2,591] $925K (-53%), Est Wkd $2.8M
