Final Destination 4 Trailer
Was released today (I think...), anyway, i'm a fan of the series. I really liked the story behind the first one, and even though they are predictable, i still find them fun. Here you go:

I also am a fan of the series, this trailer is a big pile of meh but it's gonna be crazy kills as usual especially since the director of the 2nd one is back.
It's like judging a Saw movie on the trailer.

To me, this series will always start and end with the first. The sequels are too damn unnecessary.

I just saw the trailer. That is the best they could come up with? A race car crashing into spectators? Even for a ridiculous horror movie, that is a stupid plot.
Even a remake of the first would work better than this idea.

This is probably my favorite horror franchise, but I'll agree the only one of any quality and substance was the first. The 3rd movie was terrible, but the deaths were really off the wall at least.
Davon Sawa's career basically when to crap after FD, he's been in a couple low budget horror/thrillers, and not much else.

Umm... It happened, and many people were seriously injured and could have easily been killed... I don't think its a stupid plot for a Final Destination film...

Isn't this why people watch Final Destination movies in the first place? It can't be for the inventive plots or top notch acting.

The first one DID have an inventive plot. That was a major reason why it was a hit. The other two used the same plot (I don't know if I've seen either of them) so it really isn't inventive anymore... How many sequels can you say have an inventive plot? When you greenlight a sequel, you're assuming that the audience wants to see the same plot/characters in a slightly new way. Even "The Godfather: Part II" had much of the same plot as the first (i.e. whack this guy, revenge on this guy, this guy is a traitor, protect our intrest, family turmoil, etc).
