Ice age and Public enemies tracking

It's raining in Ohio too, but it's pretty nice in NY.

It rained here this morning but it stopped in the afternoon.

It was actually nice here in MA today for the first time in like 2 weeks. Its rained just about every day.

BOM has Ice Age and Tf2 tying this weekend for the #1 spot at $42.5M each. Of course, it'll change when the actuals come in though.

EST:

1. Transformers - $42.5
3. Public Enemies - $26
4. The Proposal - $12
5. The Hangover - $10

PTA EST:

5. The Hurt Locker - $14K
4. Ice Age - $10K
3. Transformers - $10K
2. Public Enemies - $7K
1. Moon - $6K

The Hurt Locker is turning out to be a great Ultimates pick with 10 PTA points so far. Next week it expands to 50 theatres and hopefully the points can continue to come in.

Hurt Locker is also the best movie I've seen this year.

As for the tie, I expect Ice Age to emerge as the winner on Monday. Usually, family films have the better Sundays.

Yeah, I was surprised that THL got another 5 PTA points. Meanwhile, Whatever Works expanded too quickly and gets no more.

I am saying this as jokingly as possible, but do you ever get tired of being wrong when it comes to Transformers 2?

He's right though, Keyser, family movies almost always have good Sundays. Just this time.....he was wrong lol.

I do admit that I got one thing correct: that Transformers would have a big second week drop. I predicted 59% and it dropped 61%.
