I think Jay Bilas is pretty knowledgable (except he underhypes Europeans, less, though than Vitale) and he thinks Rubio is going to be pretty good. You can always develop a shot... Kidd did. You can't teach court vision. Either you have it or you don't.

What the hell are the Wolves thinking drafting 2 PG's in the first round? They're probably trade Flynn, but they could've had Rubio and Curry. Which would've been monstrous.

I don't know how Vince Carter will fit in with the magic. Depends on if he can play the last scoring option in the starting line-up. He's used to being #1 and that is a huge drop, we'll see whether he'll compromise or bitch and act like Iverson.

Vince Carter to the Magic is not a good move. He's another one of those guys who makes a lot of money but will never win a title because they are so used to being the star and refuse to let anyone else shine (more examples: Jason Kidd, Stephon Marbury, Allen Iverson, anyone who was a star on the Seattle SuperSonics). Except the chemistry and win total to drop because they had to deal for an aging veteran who's past his prime solely to get asses in the seats.

I assume the Wolves think Flynn can play the 2. Regardless, I am going to love that team, as I love both Flynn and Rubio. I don't know why they took Lawson too though. They have to be trading one of them. I also would have drafted Curry if I were them, but they obviously had a reason for drafting Flynn, whatever it was.

I didn't watch past the Top 10 so I didn't know that they also took Lawson.

I didnt really understand the Timberwolves reasoning for drafting Rubio and Flynn. Aparently they want good point guards. I think Rubio and Flynn are going to be solid players in this league for a while.

Also they where a lot of surprises in this Draft. I didnt expect Hansborugh to go that high. I thought he would slip down to the late 1st round. Also im shocked Dejuan Blair sliped to the 2nd round. The Spurs got a steal there.

Spurs definitely got a steal with Blair in the 2nd round. There's talk now from Rubio's dad that he may spend another year in Spain

I'm shocked about Blair and Young, but not about Hansborough. There's always someone who will waste a high draft pick on the best college player.
