LET'S GO CHIEFS!!! Grab Aaron Curry! Did anyone hear the Slumdog music during the pre-draft stuff? It was pretty cool. Pumps you up a little bit.

Haha, that was a surprise. Although I said the same thing when the Titans drafted Chris Johnson W, and well, we know how well that turned out

Who does Cincy take? I'm playing Streak for the Cash and they're doing every other pick...

I'm doing it too, I need to know who cleveland takes too. Right now I'm leaning towards any other conference but they might take Smith.
Re: NFL Draft Thread
I picked any other... Monroe is the only SEC player, I believe, that they'd consider.
BTW: I just matched my streak high this season of 3!

I thought they were taking Crabtree... If Heyward-Bay was their pick, they should have traded down 10-20 slots...

Re: NFL Draft Thread
no shit, but again, that is Al Davis! I can't believe they didn't at least go Maclin. Damn. Crabtree is going next, its close to a lock. 240 or less.
Edit: Damn I didn't get to change it in time. Oh well.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
They really should have taken Orakpo, but Moreno will be good.
Edit: Talking about Denver of course, but I love how fast Washington picked Orakpo. It was such an easy pick and they didn't waste any time. This draft is flowing a lot better than previous ones.

Pleased that my Saints resisted the urge to draft a Running Back and picked up Malcolm Jenkins instead. They can slide him in at CB or Safety. Maybe we'll stop hemorraging fourth quarter touchdowns...

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Thoughts so far:
-I'm surprised that the Lions took Stafford first. I really feel that they should have taken an offensive lineman instead and waited until next year to take a quarterback. But also, I thought they were going to screw up again and take a wide receiver that would have no quarterback.
-The Jets-Browns trade is interesting but I still find it amazing that they gave up five players to get Sanchez. Did they not learn from the 1999 draft when the Saints traded their whole draft for Ricky Williams?
-I also can't believe that the Raiders passed on Maclin. The Eagles may have gotten the steal of the draft when they managed to snag him at 19th.
