I think it may have more to do with the failing of our school system...

You're not the only one. I set up the Terminator over 250 club and most people weighed in there if you want to find it.

Wolverine's opening weekend will seriously decline because it leaked on the internet as of Saturday on the illegal movie website which i use Wolverine has had 70,212 views. It's not gonna do that well. Teriminator and Transformers will open higher than Fast and Furious for sure but dont bank On Wolverine.

I dont' think the online leak will hurt Wolverine that much for it's US Box Office...I mean, who knows how many of those people were from other countries. And for me personally, even if i did see it online I'd probably still go see it in the theater.

Wasn't Taken heavily downloaded before opening? And didn't it manage to gross over $130 million?

Yeah but Taken didnt have thousands of views. I dont think Wolverine will do terrible i just dont think it will do like 80-90 i think it will only manage 60-70. plus i love how everyone is thinking Fast and Furious making 70 mill is such a disgrace. i think its more of a disgrace that Round and Round by Flo Rida is a hit. That's disgraceful.

Taken did have quite a few views especially when you take into account how long it took to release it.

it did have quite a few views but nowhere near as many as Wolverine as been getting. Two of my buddies have already watched Wolverine twice and they said it was awesome.

Plus the leak of Wolverine isn't even the final cut! There is nothing of value coming out the last weekend of April. It's going to be huge.

Re: Apr 3rd Tracking
I don't get why people would download an UNCOMPLETED blockbuster working cut. This movie was made to be seen in the cinemas, it's not really the same watching that leaked copy.
Re: Apr 3rd Tracking
They probably do it because they think they might find alternate and deleted scenes not in the theatrical cut and get the claim that they got to see these scenes first. For example, the workprint of the Halloween remake had a drastically different third act featuring a rape scene between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. The scene was cut to get a R rating and to leave the film open for sequels.
That and so they can claim to be the first to see a certain new film.

Re: Apr 3rd Tracking
IMO it's not worth it. Don't get me wrong, i do it sometimes as well, but when i do it's because i want to watch a movie that is:
1. not in cinemas in australia
2. is hard-to-find
3. foreign film not released in australia
IMO it's downright stupid to watch a blockbuster (and ESPECIALLY a blockbuster) over the net, especially considering that it's not even the 'real' movie.
Anyway, if there is positive buzz from this leak then it might even help the OW. If enough good internet vibe goes around then i don't see why it will hurt it. Ofcourse this is taking into account the fact that most sane people would have waited for the release of the film in cinemas.
