Re: Favorite current TV Shows?
It sucks that Life on Mars got cancelled, it was so cool. My favorite five shows are, in no particular order:
Burn Notice
The Amazing Race
House, M.D.
The Biggest Loser
24
I also really like Fringe, but it'll take another season to really grow on me.

Re: Favorite current TV Shows?
I'm a terrible tv viewer. I usually just get the seasons on dvd after they end each year. A season of patience and then I gratify it months later. What I try to watch during the year:
24 (just started watching it this season and have back-tracked all the way through the first four seasons)
Battlestar Galactica
The Ultimate Fighter
Occasionally 'The Biggest Loser'
The Apprentice
Supernatural
Generally I just pick a movie from my dvd collection instead, or watch something older (we're watching all of The Muppet Show right now and I'm a sucker for anything Star Trek).

Re: Favorite current TV Shows?
Glad to see we have another hooked on 24. this is absolutely one of the best seasons yet. I've been watching it in like 4 hour blocks, since I have class on Monday nights and am usually too busy to watch it so I just wait weeks and weeks then watch all of them to catch myself up. Great season so far!
Re: Favorite current TV Shows?
Has anyone else watched Kings yet? I'm a huge Ian McShane fan (I loved Deadwood) and that's why I started to watch this. The premise of the show is pretty cool, but it seems pretty cheesy to me so far. McShane is great in it, but the rest of the cast is just blah. I can't tell if I like it yet, or I just want it to be good. Verdict is still out.

I've been meaning to watch the first two episodes, but i just haven't gotten around to it yet.... I think the concept sounds intriguing but I haven't really heard any great things about it.

I like '24' best when Kim isn't around. Of the first four seasons, I think I like them from most to least: 3,2,4,1. That's no knock on season 1 either -- it was great! 3 and 2 were seasons where there was so much going on, I couldn't stop watching! Great stuff.

Lost
True Blood
Scrubs
New Zealand's Next Top Model
Project Runway

What do you think of the new series of FOTC, NSpan? I'm not sure yet, definitely isn't hitting the peaks of the last series, but some good moments.

i know yer behind us in episodes.. don't worry, after a couple so-so episodes early on, the season picks up.. Michel Gondry's episode was surprisingly not all that note-worthy.. but there are some great ones in theresilversurfer19 wrote:What do you think of the new series of FOTC, NSpan? Same here, I've been noticing lately they've stopped trying to cram 6-7 storylines in each episode. They're taking their time and relying on 2 or 3 stories per show. For example, we haven't seen Claire in awhile or Peter, except for that little glimpse in the elevator and Statue of Liberty.
I was definitely surprised at who Rebel was though.

Well that is a relief. We are three episodes in so far and the second was great, the rest not so much. I have been anticipating the Gondry episode for a while, I hope it matches my expectations, as they seem a match made in heaven.

I kind of knew it once we saw Parkman's son with a similar ability. I've been wondering what happened to Micah for awhile now...
It is nice not to have a million different stories crammed into each episode (badly)...Lost is a good example of how to have multiple plotlines and do it right...
