Actor Madness! (1940's and pre-40's)(Cary Grant WINS!!!)

Ok, basically on FM we got together 8 actors/actresses for each decade from the 2000s to the 1940's plus a pre-1940 catagory. I seem to be on a run today of picking the choice which has received no previous votes....

They are/were husband and wife??? I don't know all those older actors/actresses. Remember how we did this? She tied with someone else for the last spot and won the runoff... So it was a random occurance, though they aren't really random since big actors tend to marry other big actors.

Bogey married Bacall, they had two children and when he died, she was his widow. There was also a big age difference between the two (I believe he was 56 and she was 22 when they got married).

Reminds me of a Family Guy campaign slogan, "Vote Bogart! Together we can beat my wife!"

And Bogart does beat his wife 11-1.

I'm thinking that Keaton and Cagney could both pull off upsets.

Cagney, maybe. Not Keaton though. I don't know how many of us really know the silent era.

I'm suprised that Cagney is getting pasted (6-2 at this point). To be honest I don't understand how he can have any votes against him in this match-up. I would have thought Gable would have been viewed as badly outclassed.
