I checked out some of the websites for the bands that I hadn't heard of. Calla is pretty badass even though I could only hear the one song on their site. More bands need to have 30-40 second clips on their site and be able to sell MP3s directly.

I use myspace to check out bands. They usually have three or more full length songs you can listen to which gives you a good idea of their sound.

Also Lamb Of God is amazing and im going to see them on April 18 there are one of the best band out there right now. btw death metal still exists and deathcore is death metal mixed with hardcore.
