Most Antincipated Films Rest Of July-Aug

Most of the films that people where really excited about have already been released. So what is everybody else excited for the rest of summer. Here is my list

Ponyo, honestly the trailers dont look too good, but so far ghibli studios hasnt let me down, hopefully itll open wide enough so i can see it
500 days of summer, i think it looks really interesting
District 9, still wish they would of made a Halo movie, though this might be good second option
Julie and Julia, i know i know, its a chick flick, but i found the trailer funny

and an honorable mention, this movie will most likely be crap, but i want to see The Perfect Getaway

500 Days Of Summer actually looks strangely good to me. I cant really pinpoint it but i am intrested in seeing it.

I think it looks awesome...I can't be the only one. Can I?

I'd rather see Shorts than say, The Final Destination (which looks utterly ridiculous but it's going to make a boatload of money).

Which one is Shorts again? I remember hearing about it but can't remember...

It's the new one from Robert Rodriguez. The one with the magic rock and Jon Cryer trying to get the rock so he can take over the world.

Oh, ok, it played before HP last night. Yeah, it looked pretty shitty. In fact, most all of the trailers before HP looked pretty crappy. The best was 2012 and I'm not so sure about that one.

Remember, 2012 is a Roland Emmerich movie. So, while it may be cool at first odds are it will have contrived plot devices to ensure happy endings all around. Plus, recent John Cusack really hasn't been too good at picking movies. It should suck...long and hard. As was intended.

Here were the trailers before my showing of Harry Potter:

Shorts (shorter than the last trailer)
Where The Wild Things Are (shorter than the last trailer and STILL appealing to hipsters rather than children)
The Princess and The Frog (the same trailer from May)
G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra (this new trailer is about the same as the old one, only with Cobra Commander's bits being replaced by Marlon Wayans doing shtick that would make Michael Bay proud)
Sherlock Holmes (the trailer is still the same from May, Rachel McAdams is still hot)

Too bad this was PG, because then they could have put the new District 9 trailer with the film. And often Harry Potter and Peter Jackson will go together in terms of trailers.

Yeah i agree that Final Destination trailer was very awful and i was laughing at it pretty hard when i saw it. I had an odd set of trailers when i saw Bruno. The trailers attached where..
