Numbersix is right with both quote number #8 and my thinly disguised theme, *lol* I'm sure you guys will rip through this in no time.
Dr No is in there Shaan, but #10 wasn't the quote I had him saying.

Sorry john... but this isn't the way the game works
Re: W's New Quote Game - SNL Edition (updated quotes/hints on top of page 25)
I had to edit your post John. You answered all of the quotes. You are only allowed to answer one quote at a time, until someone else gets one right, or until the next day. The person with the most right answers wins. Also, no looking up answers, not saying you did, just saying its cheating. The winner posts a new set of 10 quotes linked by a common theme.
Also, six, we still never got an answer to your theme, or I missed it somehow.

Ah, never knew there were any rules. Having been mildly obsessed with the Bond movies for many years in my youth, most of these were easy. No need to look any of 'em up. If I can only lay claim to one, I'll take the cucumber sandwich line, since it's a favourite. Hugo Drax in Moonraker. (I knew his name would come to me before long)

I think #6 is A View to a Kill (Max Zorin).
Re: W's New Quote Game - SNL Edition (updated quotes/hints on top of page 25)
And he asks it so innocently too, doesn't he Shryke? You are correct!

Does this mean I can reveal a new one now? Whee!

That means john is going to win this one. Start getting your theme and quotes together

How about 10 movies from 1995 that were better than Braveheart? So many movies to choose from!
Actually, that theme would require thought and research on my behalf, so I'll go for something easier.

10 is the Man with the Golden Gun- has to be, considering they were both assassins

John Erle and numbersix are both correct again (I've edited the standings at the top of this page) and that leaves us with only one more, number three, to go. I've been chuckling that it is the final one because I thought it would be the easiest and the first to go!

Shame on us for not getting it. It's Diamonds Are Forever.
Re: W's New Quote Game - SNL Edition (updated quotes/hints on top of page 25)
A James Bond film that I dearly love and find sadly neglected and under-rated! Thanks to all who took the time to guess and play. Next up is John Erle with ten new quotes!

For the record, I got that one in my rule-breaking post that rattled off 9 of the 10 answers before the forum police deleted it. Diamonds Are Forever is one of my favourite Bond flicks, so shame on the rest of y'all, but my fanboy cred remains intact.
Now, on to the next round.
1. Why, it's just a hat, darling. Belonging to a small-headed man of limited means who lost a fight with a chicken.
2. Why didn't you learn the violin?
3. Tell me, which lunatic asylum did they get you out of?
4. Double sixes. Fancy that!
5. Presumably I'm the condemned man, and obviously you're the hearty breakfast.
6. My dear girl, there are some things that just aren't done. Such as drinking Dom Perignon '53 above the temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That's as bad as listening to the Beatles without earmuffs.
7. That's detente, Comrade. You don't have it, I don't have it.
8. This never happened to the other fella.
9. I've got a little itch. Down there. Do you mind?
10. Very novel, Q. You must get them in the stores for Christmas.
(If you can't guess the theme, double shame on you!)
Re: W's New Quote Game - SNL Edition (updated quotes/hints on top of page 25)
Welcome to the forums, JohnE, though I would have preferred a quote round not related to Bond again
Anyway, I only know a few, but 2 is certainly The Living Daylights, because the Bond girl played the cello

The last one was all Bond villains, but this one is the man himself, so technically they are different.
And you're right about #2. Good man. I'm pleasantly surprised to see The Living Daylights answered so soon since it's my favourite of all the Bonds.
