I am officially staying on the Fast and Furious bandwagon. I was on the very front, then moved to the middle, and now am in the front again. $18 for a $40 M + OW... You can't ask for too much more unless it's a total surprise. I just don't see it doing a "Watchmen".

I see it doing exactly what Watchmen did. But in a good way.

i agree W i dont think Fast and Furious will have a Watchmen-like drop i think it has too much of an audience for that to occur.

Anger Management with 42 mill. I think this will break the April OW record. I also think this weekend will break the highest April weekend which took in $114 million, FF4 and MVA should take care of that i would think, not to mention HiC, Knowing, ILYM etc.

Fast and Furious definatley has the april opening weekend record in the bag and i think it has a strong shot at topping 50 million. I know that me and a very large group of plan on seeing it opening weekend. When we went to see Watchmen about 8 of us went, with this one about 15 of us are. The appeal for this is so much more than Watchmen

$50 million? Seriously?! I may have to readjust all my slates to make room for it if it's going to be THAT big...

Still way too much for a movie about annoying yet hot people who drive annoying cars...

A while back, one of these annoying fucks pulled up beside me and started revving his little honda civic (or whatever it was) engine at me. I was on my BMW RT motorcycle. He must have watched too many movies since he thought his 150 hp 3000 lb car could beat a 102 HP bike that weighs about 700 lbs with me on it.
Physics dude, physics. I was probably 30+ yards ahead of him when I hit 3rd gear at 55-60 mph. These movies are partially responsible for stupidity.

I CALLED IT! I'm on a friggin roll! It'll probably end in a couple weeks though.

Fast adn Furious seems to have just over a 50/50 chance of beating Anger Management. What will be interesting is MvA's hold. Biggest total April weekend ever.

i plan on seeing Fast and Furious on Friday and I Love You Man on Sunday i will be contributing to this Box office twice this weekend. I also agree the Fast and Furious will proably beat Anger Management on the April box office record.

I can see F&F hitting the 40s but I'm going to temper my predictions and have it at the mid 30s. Still a must have on all slate, though.

I recently watched the 1st one on FX last night and remembered how great it was, and now I'm excited to see the new one. And advertising is outta control.

I'm happy. Only a few hours to go before the Week 1 Deadline for the Super Leagues, and nearly 70% of the remaining participants have their slates in. This by far surpasses the previous records. In previous months, I have the league start with less than 50% of the players weighed in. Maybe it's that the remaining players are more disciplined, maybe it's because everyone wants Fast and Furious, I don't know. But I thank all of you for getting your slates in to me ON TIME for a change. Let's go for a higher percentage next month (lest you miss out on Wolverine)!

He's calling $48 million on Fast and Furious, $32 million on Monsters vs. Aliens and $10 million on Adventureland.
