Just in time for Transformers 2: Megan Fox is Single Again!

Transformers star Megan Fox and fiance Brian Austin Green have called off their engagement, just a month after the actress criticised her then-partner for not supporting her at awards shows.

The 22-year-old beauty had been dating actor Green, 35, since 2004, and they announced their plans to wed in November 2006.

However, Fox hinted their romance was in trouble at the Golden Globes in January, when she publicly blasted her longtime love for failing to escort her to the awards ceremony.

The actress arrived at the glitzy prizegiving without Green, which led to questions about where her beau was.

The sexy actress finally exploded and hissed, "He doesn't wanna be here. He doesn't want to be my date. He's a man, he has an ego."

Quizzed further, Fox explained the actor was "probably at home, making music".

And now UsMagazine.com reports the couple has split for good.

A source tells the website, "The relationship had run its course.

"They both realised the time had come to go their separate ways. It's completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.

"(They) are both focusing on their careers."

It's a slow news day. But I think this recent news locks it in for a cool 300M at least.

I knew that it couldn't last. Green seems like a creep of the "Scott Baio Is 45 and Single" variety and probably uses much younger girls like Fox like paper.

But expect Fox to go with more creeps like him. If she's good at one thing, it's probably golddigging or briefly boosting the careers of has-beens like Green.

I doubt she's a golddigger. She probably made more money than him from Transformers alone.

I don't think that she got paid much for Transformers. I'd say $250,000, $500,000 tops since she was an unknown at the time.

Also, I remember reading that she grew up very poor in a small town in Tennessee. When you're really poor in the South, the only ways out are talent and golddigging. Since she isn't talented (unlike Ashley Judd and Renee Zellweger, both very talented), golddigging is the only way out.

Actually, I'd probably rank her alongside Zellwegger. And I'm sure she is making enough money from Jennifer's Body, the new Transformers and various magazines to not have to worry about money anymore.

Dude, she's only been in like 2 movies so far...I don't think it's very fair to judge talent quite yet. And, even so, she was the best part of Transformers (which isn't saying all that much, btw) and was good in How to Lose Friends...

My main thought is, doesn't she have a tattoo of his name or something on her body?

Which is probably saying even less. And the tattoo was probably one of those transfer thingies. I'm sure most of Hollywood uses them now. They never know who they will be with each week, but they have got to make it look like they are 'so' in love

Did you see How to Lose Friends? I liked it quite a bit. In fact, I would say it's in my top 10, and possibly 5, of the year, along with Revolutionary Road, Doubt, Let the Right One In, etc. If you haven't yet, you should read my review on Shryke's site...

I haven't but what I have seen has not been good. It looked like your typical British style comedy which relies on British jokes (shouting bollocks just for the sake of it, because its 'funny' when someone British swears) with far too much slapstick filling in obvious holes in a decent narrative. There are so many of this type of movie its unreal. I have severely lost faith in Simon Pegg over the last year. I don't think he can pick good projects and only seems to have a decent supporting cast when Edgar Wright is directing.

I liked How To Lose Friends and Alienate People but they could have cut most of the Megan Fox scenes. She's only on screen for 15-20 minutes and most of those minutes are pretty embarrassing to watch. I saw the film in theatres with my mother and we both agreed that despite her good looks, she can't act.

I would have agreed with Banks. Not that I am particularly attracted to either, but Megan Fox's face annoys me. She reminds me of those nasty girls in high school with a horrible screwed up face and her hair pulled very tightly in a pony tail. I hate those kind of girls.

True, I would say Fox is sexier. And I'd def put aside a weekend for me and her to do some disgusting things together. But I'd rather be in a relationship with Hudgens, maybe cause she's more wholesome and cute.

And for the age thing, Hudgens is only 2 years younger than me.
