Top 5 Favorite Villians
The guys (and girls) that you love to hate. They can be as simple as Lord Vader or as expansive as "man" (Bambi, Wall-E, etc). The character will be judged on every film it has been it, so Vader would include Episode 4, 5, 6, and 3 (I guess you could include 1 and 2 if you felt like it). That means The Joker would include both Nicholson and Ledger's performances. Post your top 5 and any suggestions if you'd like. This will be the next poll.
1. Amon Goeth (Schindler's List - Ralph Fiennes)
2. Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Hannibal Series - Anthony Hopkins)
3. Keyzer Soze (The Usual Suspects -
4. Racism (To Kill a Mockingbird/Hotel Rwanda)
5. Nazis (The Pianist/la Vita e Bella)
Now, what everyone wants to know... Will four of Geezer's five be the T-800, the T-1000, Skynet, and the T-X?

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
I'd say the worst villains were Typhoid Mary in Elektra and the bank robber from Hancock (did this guy even has a name or a purpose in the film?).

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
I still remember seeing that in theatres when I was nine. There should be more movies like that and less movies like Transformers.

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
Excellent category. This is being done on just spur of the moment without any real thought.
Honorary first place to my namesake.
1. Auric Goldfinger - Amazing how movies you saw at a very young age stick with you forever
2. Phillip Vandamm - James Mason in North by Northwest
3. Hannibal Lecter
4. Dr. Evil
5. Judge Doom - Christopher Lloyd in Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
I am not sure how many I can limit it to but here is a good try.
In no particular order
Harry Powell - Night of the Hunter (Robert Mitchum)
Frank - Once Upon a Time in the West (Henry Fonda)
Percy Wetmore - The Green Mile (Doug Hutchison)
Thulsa Doom - Conan the Barbarian (James Earl Jones)
Jack Torrance - The Shining (Jack Nicholson)
The Joker - Batman series (Jack and Heath)
Stupid Humanity - Idiocracy (the entire cast)
Magneto -The X-Men 1-3 (Sir Ian McKellen)
Leatherface -The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Gunnar Hansen)
Ivan Drago - Rocky IV (Dolph Lundgren)
Ok I will stop at these ten. Although I give an honorable mention to "The Man" from Fight Club, American Beauty, Fast Food Nation, All the President's Men, etc etc etc.

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
Head Trauma Resulting in Hallucinations
Are you sure that's what happened?
Goeth is the biggest villian IMO because he was pure evil and could very easily have been a real person. Get up in the morning, go pee, grab your gun on the balcony and shoot a Jew... My favorite evil scene ever.
Here's the one AFI did: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFI's_100_Years…100_Heroes_and_Villains
No one has said Alex Delange, Mr. Potter (Its a Wonderful Life), the Wicked Witch, The Alien (Alien), The Shark (Jaws), Gordon Gekko, Martians/Aliens, Dracula, and most of all Norman Bates. There's others there too...

He's listed as Narrator in the credits but it's obvious that his name is Jack. For example, why else would he have referred to himself in the third person as Jack?

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
If you paid more attention to the film, you would know that he is quoting from a magazine article. He is not referring to himself when he says Jack.
Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
Then why does he say "I am Jack's smirking revenge"?

Re: Top 5 Favorite Villians
Because he takes what he read in the movie and uses it to describe himself as the film progresses.
