Donte's Amazing Stupendous 1500th post

I have been really lazy about posting cool things for my milestones. So with 1500 posts on the new site I thought I would actual post something worthwhile.

This site is made of a bunch of movie geeks (nerds, geeks, connoiseurs, whatever you want to call us) and although we are all very different people with different personalities and upbringings, we all have that common bond. We range in age from mid teens to mid 40's and everything in between. We have at least 10 or 11 countries represented (and possibly more that I am unaware of) and yet we all have this odd love for movies.

Some of us love action packed blockbusters while others loathe the idea of big dumb movies. Some of us love curling up with a foreign movie and losing ourself in a different culture while others would rather shoot themselves with a potato gun than watch subtitles.

We play this game with no hopes of ever getting any money, no real fame (other than amongst ourselves) and it is a lot of work. It is even more work for guys like Shryke with the Super Leagues, Delfinasu with the year Long Super Contest, and W with his Weekly game who are helping to create even more games to make the site even more fun than it already is to play. They get no rewards other than an occasional thanks from us. They do it for the same reason we all play this game; because it is fun and we enjoy the camaraderie.

This post is to us as a whole community. We all help to keep this place running and to keep the forums a great place to hang out on for a few hours.

Special thanks to our admins and to Barca who picked us up and brushed us off when we got dumped by our ex-website that shall not be named. Thank you to all of the rest of us for all for the good times.

I was thinking about pumping up out site on some other movie forums. BOM, JoBlo, SHH, etc...
