The following changes have been made to the above predictions:


BOX OFFICE FULL-YEAR

Scripps gets an IM, not codeslinger.
Mister Informative was saved by T2's gargantuan OW, which means that becs is eliminated, not him.


BOX OFFICE HALF-YEAR

The bubble: delfinasu and jfs556 make the final cut, Aquamann and Ipki$$ do not.


ULTIMATE FULL-YEAR

numbersix is definitely out. NSpan, packpaljs and wesvolk are all separated by only one point, and barring a tie, only one of them will move past this round. It will come down to the User Rating changes.


ULTIMATE HALF-YEAR

No changes.



ULTIMATE REGULARS - "Jim Carrey"

JackO rides Transformers' back all the way from 9th place to 1st, for his first Regulars victory, just ahead of Chienfantome and A_Roode.


BOX OFFICE REGULARS - "Cheese and Crackers"

It was very tight at the end, about $10 million or so, but W holds off both codeslinger and SuperShaan for first place. All three broke $900 million in total box office. Way to go!

My first regulars victory as well Shryke! Next BO League = Vision Quest watch it if you haven't seen it so you can get a slate name ready... It really is one of those terrible 80's films, but is a must for anyone that is/was/will be a high school wrestler. If I ever win another it will be more mainstream, I promise.

I'm just happy to have a 100% (16/16) survival rate so far this year in the SLs... :)

Hopefully my horrible streak that's sure to come doesn't start until next year.

Based on Friday's numbers from BOM and some projections for today and tomorrow, here's how the Round Four Super Leagues shape up:




ULTIMATE HALF-YEAR

Slade605 pulled out. Also definitely on the way out are packpaljs, brockman81, thegreenarrow, silversurfer19, leestu and BanksIsDaFuture. I think that annyonggob888 and BarcaRulz will also just miss the cut.

This means that the fifteen players who will vie for the title are: Spectre, Scripps, jas_8382, W, JackO, Shrykespeare, Aquamann2001, Chienfantome, mutard7, geezer9687, rasgriz, SuperShaan, Dantic, chugsthemonkey and J-Man


Final estimates will come in tomorrow. Final results should be posted by Tuesday.

I thought I had already been eliminated from this a couple of rounds ago so hadn't even been paying attention to this one. Oops It's a good thing I enjoy laughing at myself, and feel free to laugh along.

Bad news, everyone. We lost another player. And this time, a veteran player.

It seems that our friend Shaun aka annyonggob888, a long-time fixture over at Fantasy Moguls, has had to pull out because of time constraints. This, following the abrupt departure of rasgriz (because of Internet difficulties) means the field has shrunk even further.

I know you all join me in hoping that anny can rejoin us again very soon.

Some news about the development of the new Moguls site created by our Italian friends.

According to my contact:

"We are working for our beloved game: we are currently improving the user panel and implementing the possibility of login with a single nickname to manage multiple leagues. Also private leagues will be active soon.

We are also studying an experimental economics project with the Lab of my University aiming at testing new processes for estimations and "prediction market" for movies: I think we'll need your cooperation for this test, in the autumn, if you like to help us."

I agree. I am changing my picks a lot more due to the easiness of it (how I used to play). I like the total different pricing schemes. It's like a 3rd format. Are leagues only once every 3 months?
