G-Force. The IMDb will be terrible but it should get some Top 5 points.

Tranny, you do know both of those are going into wide release immediately, right?

I guess give me H2 and I'll hope for a 5 T5/5 PTA/7.0 IMDB.

I do i am hoping they do well. My Sisters Keeper was a popular book so it has a shot of doing decent even against the mighty Transformers.

And I'll take The Final Destination. 3-D alone should give it a $20 million weekend and a Number 2 finish.

Re: The June-August Draft League Draft Room
If FD4 gets $20 mill, it'll def open to Number 1. H2 will flop, since almost nobody liked the first one. Whereas FD has a built in audience, like the Saw movies.

Re: The June-August Draft League Draft Room
I think H2 (now apparently titled Halloween II) can get a $30 million opening weekend. Michael Myers is too established of a name to fail. Meanwhile, Final Destination is a hit and miss franchise that was on life support until the announcement of a 3-D sequel. I took it due to the successes of My Bloody Valentine (terrible movie but the 3-D gave it a good opening weekend) and Fast and Furious (another sequel with a title similar to the original installment, the box office showed that people don't care if you do such a thing as they can't remember the past five years).

Re: The June-August Draft League Draft Room
I can't agree with that. Any horror mongers that know who Michael Myers is from 2007's remake will skip this, since that one was downright awful. It opened to about $30 mill, but only grossed $60 mill total, meaning bad WOM killed it. And any teenyboppers looking for a quick jumpscare will go for the creative kills promised with the Final Destination title. I think neither will break out, but FD will outgross H2 through and through. And that's more of a reflection on how bad H2 will do, not how well FD4 will do.
And how is Final Destion hit or miss? Each one has made between $45-$55, and the last one made the most. And like you said, 3D won't hurt either.

Re: The June-August Draft League Draft Room
The last one outgrossed the first? I thought it had one good week then died.
I guess they are hit or miss solely as films rather than at the box office, then. But I do remember that Final Destination 2 did average for a horror film, tailing off at $40 million (the first did $53 million after having a multiplier over 5).
