Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
A friend of mine traumatized himself for years with nightmares about 'Child's Play.' What was kind of funny about it though is that he's never even seen the movies: the poster for the first one was all it took!

I remember my Dad taking me to see Child's Play in theaters. I was 11. LOL No wonder I am so warped. Thanks dad.

Last year my eldest son was 11 and after having seen Childs Play in our collection and bugging us to allow him to watch it we finally relented. He lasted until the first murder scene. Now I realise it's a good thing he didn't finish it. As much as I like you I am not sure if I want a mini Donte for a son.
And C for the surname question.

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
I also first saw Child's Play when I was eleven. But it was the TV version (on TNT) so I wasn't effected that much.
My "movie I saw when I was younger but couldn't get past the first murder" was The Last Boy Scout. Now, I think of that first murder as being the best scene to ever be in a sports film. Better than the home run in The Natural, the vomit scene in The Sandlot and the Prisoners vs. Guards game in the original Longest Yard.

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
I think the first Horror film I ever watched was...
You know, the only one that sticks out as a complete film is the wretched 'Ghoulies,' a film which is laughably bad now but was so effective when I was growing up that for years I got it confused with 'The Goonies' -- and didn't want to watch the latter. Actually what's funny is that we were all kids (I'd have been 7 or and going to a birthday party at someone's house. His parents rented a movie for us to watch and thought that they picked up 'The Goonies.' Now which one do you think they ACTUALLY rented?

My first horror movie was probably Freaked.
Okay, that's probably horror/comedy but still.

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
I want to say Leprechaun but something in the back of my mind is screaming 'Hellraiser, choose Hellraiser!'
You'll have to give us the year's with the answer Don!
I'll go with B.
