So does Ozzy get a pick like whenever he wants and can just drop Cats and Dogs 2 now? I think it would be fair.

I'm so glad Ozzy picked Cats And Dogs before me. I was pondering on either it or From Paris With Love, and Ozzy made my choice for me. If I'd had first pick and gone with the former, I may not have been able to get the latter by the time this news was released! I feel bad for Ozzy, now....

Really? that surprises me. I remember seeing that movie when it came out. I Was 9 and thought it was the worst movie ever.

I was eleven when I rented it. Awful, awful movie.
Amazingly enough, the people who wrote the film also wrote Bad Santa.

That is a true WTF moment there Busci.
"Hey I have a screenplay I'd like you to read. It is a kid's movie about talking cats and dogs and they are spies. It is very cute and wholesome."
"Umm not really our thing. Got anything else?"
"Well I have this other one about an alcoholic foul mouthed thief and his foul mouthed midget partner who rob malls while dressed as santa and an elf. There will be lots of cussing, sex and depravity."
"I'll take that one."
Re: NEW Date Changes (Now with working link!) 8)
That's why i could never be a screenwriter. I don't have that sort of imagination or at least it comes out differently. The dude who is writing Wanted 2 used to write like Children's book adaptation, Winnie the Pooh I think. Talent those guys and gals have.

That writer did Pooh's Heffalump Movie to be exact (which actually wasn't that bad of a movie). Meanwhile, I have low expectations due to the lack of Millar but the return of Chris Morgan as co-writer. I believe that his input in the first film caused it to be only an average adaptation instead of the great fantasy action film that everyone expected. He, along with Akiva Goldsman and Simon Kinberg, is simply one of the worst screenwriters out there.
Meanwhile, I can't see an actual sequel to Wanted working. Though he's supposedly the ultimate killer, Wesley seemed too timid and passive to be a real killer. An entire film with just Wesley would either bore audiences to death or end up seeming too unbelievable. I feel that an idea for a followup should take place before Wanted's events and focus on the formation of The Brotherhood. Make Sloan, Fox, Cross and Mr. X the main characters and make it an action film about contract killers. You could end the film with Mr. X's death so possible loose ends could be bridged together.
Hopefully the next film project from Mark Millar, Kick-Ass, gets distribution soon. With Millar co-writing, Matthew Vaughn directing and Brad Pitt producing along with a cast with some familiar faces (most notably Nicolas Cage in a supporting role), you think it would have already gotten a distribution deal. But for some weird reason, nothing's happened.

Who cares, they can make something totally different. I'd still watch it, just keep the director and make it just as action packed.

Have you read the comic? Wesley gets to be very bad-ass and definitely shrugs off his timid past. And I'd be interested if the second film actually followed the comic more closely this time, rather than just the basic premise which was veered from after the first ten minutes. Having the fraternity as a band of supercriminals who defeated all the heroes in the world before wiping the public's memory of them and introducing multiple universes as the comic did would allow for a much more interesting sequel.
