Miramax had no involvement on Clerks 2. That was a co-production between The Weinstein Company (producer) and MGM (distributor).

The vast majority of the marvel films are not much more adult than Pirates of the Carribean. I can easily see the Marvel family fitting in well with Disney's offerings.

I am still not sure how this will change things. I am concerned that the more violent Marvel titles will be watered down but the Spider-man type heroes would suit their tastes. And money helps buy FX which are necessary for comic books movies.

The Punisher was exceptionally bad, but it wasn't due to the voilence. This also presents a problem in the way of only a few small companies owning EVERYTHING. This is exactly how shit gets watered down.

I dont think you would have to worry about anything being "watered down" (hmm, brain burp, but what was that animated movie with the scary rabbits called? for some reason this conversation keeps reminding me of that movie)

anyways, as i understood it, one of the reasons, that disney had for buying marvel, was to appeal more to the male 15 to 25 crowd.

That was quick. Happened a few days ago and the cartoonist is already making that comparison. Smile

i think they should have a death match. Marvel's Beast would trounce that princely pussy.

I don't think so, Donte. He's cursed and his burden weighs heavy.
