Definitely different from what I was expecting... I dunno... I'll be seeing it and I think RDJ is perfect casting, but I don't really know what to think of the trailer other than....
Rachel McAdams in a corset makes my mouth water.

Anyone else having problems with Cinema Blend? I tried playing the trailer but instead of the trailer, it gave me a million popups and a frozen browser.
Does someone have a YouTube link?

Re: Sherlock Holmes Trailer
That's a pretty epic trailer. Action, comedy, horror, a bare knuckle fight scene ala Snatch and Rachel McAdams in a corset. This better be good.
But I also had a couple of doubts. Guy Ritchie is a notoriously hit and miss director. Will this be the good pre-Madonna Guy Ritchie of Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or the bad with Madonna Guy Ritchie of Swept Away and Revolver? Also, I noticed that Simon Kinberg co-wrote the film. Like his mentor Akiva Goldsman, Kinberg is one of the worst writers in Hollywood, having delivered wasteful junk such as xXx: State Of The Union, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Jumper. But also since he was the last listed writer, his material may be held to a minimum.
And one last thing: this better not be like The Spirit and be so terribly campy that you want to shoot yourself while watching it.

I really enjoyed the trailer, both RDJ and Jude Law look good and seems they had fun. I don't think it's too campy Boosh, and we knew from the trailer the way The Spirit was heading. I think this may be a return to form for Richie to go with Rock N Rolla. Obviously splitting from Madge may have helped his career.

That tends to happen when you split up with your wife who unfortunately had a bigger dick than yours. Poor guy.
Love his work though, i even didn't mind Revolver to be honest.
The trailer kinda made it look like this was going to be Lock vs. 300 vs. Sleep Hollow. I'd watch that in a heartbeat.
Re: Sherlock Holmes Trailer
I don't trust Guy Ritchie. I'll wait longer before getting worked up over some explosions and some British wit. I didn't see anything in the trailer worth remembering other then using a beat for a freakin perfume puff!? WTF? That's like the cut back to the garage door closing in Ballistic: Ecks versus Sever.

I don't know why, but I already want to see an Irene Adler spinoff.

Re: Sherlock Holmes Trailer
Not sure what I think. It looks interesting but it seems like they took everything that Holmes was and just chucked it and made him an action star. I really hope there is some intrigue and mystery involved.
