So I dug this out of my drawer the other day and I finally had the time to retype it. I didn't have it saved on my computer, just in hard copy. I think you will all get a kick out of it. A lot has changed between this list and my latest list, made earlier this year. I feel like I let a lot of movies that I had seen very recently at the time have spots that they didn't really deserve. I also feel like there were more kids movies, obviously. I also let a film's reputation have more of an impact on this list than on my new one. I don't know why I did that, but that's my explanation for The Godfather and Scarface and their place on this list. There are a bunch of movies on this list that maybe I should be ashamed of, but I don't care. I loved them. My opinion has changed on several of them, and I have obviously seen a lot more movies over the past 5 years. But this is the list at the early 2004 stage of my life. I was going to save it for post 2000 at that other web site, but since I'm 75 away and will most likely never reach that plateau, I am going to list it here. I hope you all find it entertaining, and worthy of my post. If you want, I will also repost my current top 100 (or just wait til January when I plan on updating it).

Thats actually a pretty good list somewhat similar to my list that i put up on my 16th birthday back in April. Not that many films to be ashamed of. I am going to re-do my top 100 list because i have seen quite a few films in recent months that would qualify.

Nice list geez. I actually thought you had forgotten about this. The Goonies at 4(?), part of me questions that but then again it is such a great kid story, and without it we wouldn't have the truffle shuffle so I can't agrue. I don't even know if I had it in my 100, but it needs to be there. Now, Kung Pow at 12!!!!????!!!!

Kung Pow is still, to this day, one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It kills me. I know its not high quality, but it still makes my current list.

I had just recently seen the Matrix Reloaded and it was one of the most mind-blowing action films I had witnessed. I loved it, and I still love it. I just came to my senses a little bit on how it isn't much more than that.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I seriously think it takes a good couple of years and a few viewings to really assess a movie's quality. This current ranking for TDK is ridiculous. I know it is brilliant, but is it one of the top couple of movies ever? I'm not sure yet. Give me a couple of years and another 500 viewings... Laughing
