Does this look like Delgo to anyone else? It's got a good IMDB rating, critical success, and a decent marketing campaign via Nickelodeon. It's confusing me because it doesn't look like something that Nick would be advertising. What does anyone make of this movie's chances in both Ultimate and Box Office?

The animation may only look slightly better than Delgo but the plot is obviously better and it reminds me of Titan A.E. (which did slightly better than Delgo). And it's in 3-D.

I will most likely see this on opening weekend (after Wolverine of course), but I won't be expecting full auditoriums.

I am counting on it to make me quite a bit of money on HSX, where it is only 7 bucks. It should make at least 20 I think. 3D should help.

I wasn't a believer, but its got a decent sized marketing campaign on the Nick network, so that should at least raise awareness in their target audience...

I've put it on a couple of slates, and drafted it in the last draft game, but more with hope than confidence. I don't expect a lot but I think it has a chance of being value for it's price.

What Leestu said. I hope it does well and I expect it to do decent as counter-programming to Wolverine's PG13 rating.

I would say the 3D will do wonders for it at the BO, but then again, look at Fly Me To The Moon...

I think it could be great counterprogramming seeing as besides Hannah and the monsters there's nothing for kids till Night at the Museum2. With good 3D and good WOM, this could do pretty damn well I think.

Earth is also there for the kids. And Star Trek also looks rather suitable.

Yeah, but I'm thinking BFT is more directly aimed towards kids and will have an appeal limited to adults...
