Okay, I hope everyone doesn't mind but I deleted posts from the other thread just to streamline that thread into slates only (as well as the prices of course), allowing this thread to centre on discussions around the league. So to make things extra clear, use this thread to talk about your slates and movies in general, while using the other for posting slates ONLY. So anyway, carry on....

This is a great idea. That way only updating slates will be on that one, and it's easier to follow.

I just posted my official slate on the other thread. Here's a nice tip for everyone:

Don't press enter between you Image insertions since it cuts your slate on two columns (and you miss out on that classy look!). Instead, press space in between each Image code, and it will look really good - see my current slate on the official thread to have an idea of how nice it looks. You can also remove any word version of your slate within your post so that we can allow more space and thus more player slates to appear within a single page Cool

This is actually BETTER than the old Moguls site since we'll be able to see everyone's slates and recorded updates on ONE SINGLE PAGE as opposed to clicking on everyone's studio name for and guessing who's the owner over and over again.

Bravo to Sir BarcaRulz for turning a challenge into an opportunity!!!

I'm still not sure how we are going to organise the locking of slates each week. Maybe, can we lock threads for a certain amount of time so that no amendments can be made until updates are done? I just want to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible for those calculating totals. In an ideal world it would be as chugs said and you just look at the slate and total that up, but with slate changes and moderating changes outside of lock dates I think this could prove tricky.

The good thing about this site is that you cannot edit a post without it being time stamped. So, if you edit AFTER a lock-time, everyone will know you are a dirty little cheat.. Very Happy

Best lock-date moderation EVER!

I posted this for chugs on his Ultimate league thread, so I feel I should here. Buscemi, are you checking to make sure that everyone falls within the $100 limit. I haven't checked since its your league and I'm not accusing anyone of cheating, but people do make math mistakes. Just want to keep it as fair as possible.

Guys (and especially Buscemi), I'm sorry. I didn't know Buscemi was creating his own separate league. Since you were all using my pricing sheet, I've just been adding every roster that gets added to this thread to the league I'm creating.

Just say the word, and I'll take them off.

I'm pretty sure its not a problem Shryke. I'm sure everyone here would like to be a part of yours as well. Why the hell not?

I agree. I was actually looking back at the slate I sent in for the Regular's and I am much more confident in this one!

Shryke, I think my slate on this league is different than the one on your league. Just a heads up.
