Most people who entered the Full-Year tournament entered this one as well, and about 80% of those players ended up picking identical slates for the Half-Year tournament as well, so it should surprise nothing that the same five players who currently lead the FY tournament also lead here.

Killshot seems to be a very popular pick for this weekend, while Inkheart is rapidly losing steam... who will lead one week from now?

I have a question, and maybe I shouldn't ask it because I picked Mall Cop, but uh, why does Paul Blart have 3 PTA points? Box Office Mojo lists Rev. Road, The Wrestler and Notorious above it - all of which were available in the last leagues.

Ahh. When the Sunday estimates came out, Blart was actually ahead of Rev. Road. I didn't notice that they had switched positions. Will make the change. Thanks!

geezer, Shrykespeare and Spectre take the lead after week 3, with Spectre eyeing that #1 spot next week, hoping that Liam Neeson can get him there.

Hey Shryke, just pointing out for future reference that I actually have the same amount of points as the three of you, even though I'm listed lower. [and depending on the tracking, I may take Taken next week, I didn't realize it would be getting in so many theaters!]

I wonder how that happened. Very weird.

As with the Full-Year tournament, Fixius has dropped out in this tourney as well, which means that eleven players will get the axe at the end of March instead of twelve. I implore you all, please get your lineups in!

Shrykespeare (whoo) builds a sizable lead, but you just know that geezer is not in this thing for second place. He, J-Man and Spectre, all currently tied, round out the Green Zone.

Same thing here... kind of. I am missing Taken. But I think there are more problems at the top than just that, because it says J Man has the same stats as me, but he has spent 4 more dollars. I assume the mistake was that you have him down for owning Taken, but didn't give him the stats for it. Once again, I believe we should have the same slate so far. I don't know about Spectre, but you probably did the same thing for him as you did for me, counted him as having Taken, but didn't charge him or give him the stats.

In fact, we should all be tied with you.

Yeah, its the same as the Full Year and the Regulars. And its no problem, just making sure everything is correct. I have a pretty good feeling about my January slates. Other than Bride Wars (which the majority had anyway) I think I'm looking quite strong.

I should be a little higher with these points... Shryke, can you double check?!

Geezer, J-Man and Spectre must share the same brain or something. They've cocooned themselves inside the Green Zone; can anyone crack their defenses?

I'd share a brain with anyone as long as it keeps me in the green zone. I'm really proud of this slate, it is one of my all time bests, even with Bride Wars dragging it down.

not a bad showing so far middle of the pack and still got Watchmen set to open.

Well as long as I make it out of the Red Zone in Round one, I am kicking ass in round two. So I guess if I don't get eliminated I have a good shot at getting an IM. LOL

I'm not sure if this has been explained before, but, how exactly does the super league work? If you're in the red you get eliminated from the tournament, as in, if you're in the red after round 1, you're removed from 2 and don't submit slates for rounds after that?

And what does green (immunity) mean? you can't be eliminated for a certain amount of time?

Yup.

If you have an Im, it keeps you from getting eliminated one time.

If you fall into the dreaded redzone, you will be eliminated for the rest of the tournament, and Shryke will just discount your slates which you have already submitted. You don't submit any slates after this point. If you get an immunity marker, that gives you a 'get out of jail free' card, in which if you fall in the redzone in the future, you may use your IM and carry on to the next round. It can only be used once, however.
