Just edited my post. Gran Torino has been outstanding for me. PTA points galore, and now its tipped to open very well in wide release. Might even pick up some PTA points then as well.

I'm hoping MBV lives up to the hype and opens huge as well.

Well thank god for Marley and Me. The Day The Earth Stood Still hadn't started me off in good stead, but I have had a good cushion with this performer of the Xmas period. I knew it would be the breakout and I'm glad I stuck with it. Now if Bashir could just bring in some pta points now most of the Academy films have been released, along with Rev. Road continuing its steady progress, I may actually do okay in this league.

Ha. Donte, it's not nice to be envious. I'm hoping Defiance will fall flat, i watched it the other day and it was very disappointing. At best, it was an 'ok' film.

Yay for Notorious!! I thought it was gonna be in top 5's that I'd get something from it, but PTA is much better for me. I have been needing it. And with Rev. Road still bringing some in I might actually start closing the gap on Barca!! I'm enjoying this league!

Me too. I hope everyone will update their league tomorrow or tuesday, and i'll update W's slate for him. Then we'll get to see the latest standings.

I didnt think out my slate too well though, my 8 picks all opened on 3 dates. Doubt and Reader opened on the 12th, Valkyrie, Buttons, Bedtime opened on the 25th, and Not Into You, Panther and Push are all opening on the 6th of February.

I'm sure it will hold well, probably pick up another couple of top 5's. I think Notorious will be dead for me this week, at least it brought in a few PTA last week. Hopefully Rev. Road can keep pumping away too despite its expansion.

Yes, I think that's how the game was devised. Glad I jumped on the Taken bangwagon just in time. Some top 5 and a decent imdb would do very nicely.
