Now that I've seen all ten of the top ten films for IMDB's top 250, I was wondering what other people thought of the top 10. Also, I'd like to know what you personally would put as the top ten films in quality, artistic vision, and entertainment value.

interesting to see that you think there are only 4 better movies than 12 Angry Men... i think we're finally gonna watch it tonight

I've only seen about a third of the 250, so its not like I've seen every good movie made. But, it does have a 100% on the Tomatometer. Shawshank only got 87%.

Are there any films on the list that got a Rotten rating from Rotten Tomatoes?

On the entire top 250? I don't know and wouldn't want to look all of them up...

i refer to RT religiously for new releases.. but i don't think it's reliable for older films.. most of those reviews were written well after the movie in question has already been judged by time--making the review itself a bit questionable.. or, at the very least, unfair to compare to the % ratings of modern films

Here's how I would reorder the top 10.
