Also, back then, buying videos wasn't as popular, so movies played alot longer in theaters, giving higher stats.

That being said, I can't believe how much Rocky IV made...that would be a shitload more if we bump up ticket prices to modern theater prices.

Barton Fink. Would it have been a popular pick based on Raising Arizona and Miller's Crossing? Hard to say. It made 22 PTA and 4 Million bucks for a limited. Great numbers.

From this decade, Memento. One of Nolan's first movies. Probably would have been a gamble at the time. 23 PTA and 14 Mil with a spectacular IMDB.

Bridget Jones Diary was another odd one. Debuted at number 3 and then racked up 19 Top 5 points and 3 PTA along with 69 Mil.
