Holy shit, I had no idea he was that old.

And the only Depp movie that I've liked that I've seen is Sweeney Todd.

1.Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas
2.Dead Man
3.Ed Wood
4.Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
5.(tie) Edward Scissorhands/Benny and Joon

I've read great things about his performance in The Brave (also the only time that Depp has directed a film), however he refuses to allow a US release due to a disappointing audience reaction at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival. Bootlegs are often seen on the Internet though.

So, I don't have a top five, because every movie Johnny Depp has do has been awesome (even Willy Wonka!), but I just wanted to point out since y'all seem to be so surprised at his age... Brad Pitt is also turning 46 this year.

I can't believe he is 46.. I knew he was, but i still have a hard time believing he is. I looked older when i was 12!

Too many favorite Johnny Depp movies to list them. My personal favorite of his films is probably Donnie Brasco, although my favorite performance of his is hands down the first Pirates movie.

I always think of What's Eating Gilbert Grape as a DiCaprio movie rather than Johnny Depp's movie. Maybe it's because it was the movie that got him noticed rather than Depp.

I'm with you, as one of the aforementioned admirers, have no clue where Depp's appearance in As Good As It Gets might have been. I can only guess maybe someone is mistaking Skeet Ulrich for Depp?
