Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
You can still answer #11 as well, if you want to A_Roode, and 10 if you haven't yet. I'll give a few hours before I put up the answers.

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
Sometimes it's good to answer the same as everyone else and other times it's not. The Repo Man question is a good example of the latter. The answer was B. Bad Religion. Everyone guessed D. Fear, and everyone got it wrong.
The answer to question #11 was A. Straight to Hell.
The answer to twelve was A. The Band.
Following are standings after 12 questions.
1 point - Banks
4 points - Leestu
5 points - A_Roode, Surfer
6 points - Geez
7 points - Buscemi, Tranny
8 points - Donte
Close match so far!
Question #13 6/1
In celebration of the new Rancid album coming out tomorrow (which I happened to get tonight through pre-order): which Jim Carrey movie featured Rancid's 1995 hit "Timebomb"?
A. Ace Ventura II: When Nature Calls
B. Number 23
C. Fun With Dick and Jane
D. The Mask

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
I'll guess C as I haven't seen it and don't recall it in the others. Then again I haven't seen B either, but I'm sticking with C - Fun With Dick and Jane.

Question #13
The only one I've seen is 'The Mask' but that was like 15 years ago. I'll guess A. Ace Ventua 2 but I've got no idea.

Question #14. The Final Question. Donte could either take the victory here, or we could have a tie. The question as follows:
The score to Gaspar Noe's Irreversible was done by Thomas Bangalter of house band Daft Punk. However, during the first thirty minutes of the film, there is a background noise, almost inaudible, similar to the noise made by earthquakes, and known to cause nausea, sickness, and vertigo in humans. This noise was the main cause of people walking out of theaters during the first showings at Cannes & San Sebastian, and was actually intended to have this effect. Which frequency did this background noise have?
A. 24Hz
B. 28Hz
C. 32Hz
D. 44Hz

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
Well obviously I am guessing A since the two placed one point below me guessed A. LOL
The bad news is that I am at a motorcycle rally and won't have time to post any questions if I win. I will be back at work on Monday but not until then.

Re: Daily Trivia Question - Honor System
Well, the only person who was correct was A_Roode, as the answer was B. 28Hz, putting his points up to 6. And yes Banks, that noise is on the DVD version. What I didn't say was that the noise at the beginning is enhanced by a camera spinning 360 fast and continuously, through a bondage club. There are some other pretty fucked scenes as well. I'd say it was in the top 5 hardest films to watch, probably placing at #2, with only Salo above it. But the director had a statement to make with it, and all in all, besides the beginning, the hard parts to watch were prob only 20 min of the movie.
Donte won which means we'll be waiting til Monday. Til then, why don't the two second placers, Busc and tranny, post some questions just for fun, for all us movie geeks to enjoy!
