Nobody took My Life In Ruins in the other league but I think that it could be a decent hit, considering that it's the only film out there for older couples and those tend to do well (see Nights In Rodanthe from last fall).

Have you seen its IMDB rating though? I doubt it will improve too much. That and it being released wide against Star Trek, I don't see it breaking out.

BTW, Barca is up next.

Quietly earning 40-60 million and getting a few top 5 is fine by me. If my PTA picks don't work, I wouldn't win by getting another slim chance indy film. And I do think it will earn some decent money.

I wouldn't be surprised. I do think we are at a great disadvantage though this season, because really any of those top 6 movies could do really well, and so most of our group have at least two very good picks, possibly hitting $200m. We don't have that luxury. So I guess if we do well in this league I will be very pleased with myself.
