This thread will serve as an archive for the results of each round of the just-completed Super Leagues. Check them out, ponder, reminisce, piss and moan about Semi-Pro, gloat about The Strangers or House Bunny, denounced the hype of Cloverfield, wonder how Indiana Jones ever made it to $300 million.

If anyone wants to take the time to go through these results and determine who the best overall player was (i.e., who had the highest dollar total, the best average standing, etc.), be my guest. As I'm sure he's mentioned, geezer9687 is the only player to enter all six tournaments and survive every single cut, which, for my money, makes him the MVP for this year. Objections?

I just want to say, again, what a pleasure it was to be the moderator of this tournament for you guys. It was a metric ton of work, but it was worth every keystroke, as it turned out to be one of the most kick-ass things I've ever been a part of. Special thanks to the long-departed Azure Wolf for the spreadsheet program that cut my work nearly in half, and here's to another year of competition!

So I ran through all of the Ultimate full year results and ranked those who made the final round 1-20 in every round. Top spot out of the 20 received 20 points, last received 1. Only those who made the final round were considered. All others were not taken into account. This is to measure consistent performance throughout every round. Here are the results:

I'll do the other leagues too. For Box Office, I will do it the same way, rather than adding up money made, because its a better measure of consistent play, as the numbers vary greatly depending on the season.

Thanks for that Geez. Obviously we need to play closer attention to Fixius and Kamakazi Down in the future, as they seem to slip by without much notice, while other players such as Geez get all the attention

So these are the results if we were to play a cumulative game. If all rounds counted for each tournament, here is how it would have shaken out. Have fun looking them over guys.

I'm going to do a little something to combine the tournaments and come up with the top 15 Super League Competitors next.

Alright so here's how I did it. I took each list that I just compiled and cut it to the top 15 finishers in each competition. Then assigned the points. A first place finish got you 15 points, a 15th place finish got you one point. Here are the results:

So there you have it. The overall best competitors from each format. I hope you all agree with how I set this up. I know that it favors players that played in each tournament, but shouldn't it? I'm glad that in order to make the final overall list, you had to at least finish top 15 in two tournaments. It is impressive that some players that only played one format are high up on the Overall list. I was the only player on every list, so it wasn't surprising to me that I topped the list. I am glad I topped anny in the Box Office List though, as his Half Year Round 2 really hurt his overall standing. Hope you enjoy looking over everything I've done today, as I felt I owed it to Shryke. He's been working for us all year, I figured I could sacrifice a day to putting this together.

First of all, congrats to geezer! You're our 2008 MVP, no doubt. And thank you for doin' these tops. I was trying to do something like this today, and now I don't have to...

Not too bad considering I didnt even compete in the BO full year or the 1st half BO 1/2 year. Shouldnt the AP top 20 get a revamp?
