September Box Office Predictions

Let's do a tally of what The Fantaverse crew think will be the highest grossing films of September. Each person can submit their Top 5 with a prediction range for the domestic gross. I'll start with mine to get the ball rolling.

1. I Can do bad all by myself: 85 - 95
2. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: 65 - 75
3. 9: 60 - 70
4. Fame: 50 - 60
5. The Informant: 45 - 55

These predictions are not only for their September box office (but overall).

1. Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs - $100-125
2. Fame - $70-$90
3. I Can Do Bad All By Myself - $60-$70
4. The Surrogates - $55-$75
5. Jennifer's Body - $40-$50

Fame $90-100 million
Surrogates $65-70 million

The only major 3D animated film to not hit $100 M is Coraline and we all know that's a little askew from the mainstream.

2 The Surrogates $70-90 M
Bruce Willis back in the sci-fi/action genre that America loves him so much in. I wouldn't be surprised if it went a little over $100 M

3 Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself $60-65 M
This is about what his second highest grossing film did.

4 Everything Else (ok, for the sake of argument--largely from Crazy Eyes--I'll say Jennifer's Body $45-50 M)
Megan Fox in an Obsessed type roll where she plays a ho. I wonder what the appeal is of that?

5 I'll say Gamer $35-40 M but it could really be any of 5 or 6 films.

I'm going to say Tranny's predictions look pretty spot on to me
