The King Is Dead

Post by Buscemi on Fri Jun 26, 2009 3:37 am

Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has died at the age of 50.

Earlier in the day, he had suffered a massive heart attack and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Despite attempts at CPR, they failed to succeed and he died of cardiac arrest as a result of his heartattack.

Though a very controversial figure, he will always been remembered as being a hit machine as he had thirteen songs chart at Number 1 on the Billboard charts. His 1982 album Thriller was one of the most successful albums of all-time when it was released. He could also be considered one of the leaders of music videos as he and director John Landis were responsible for the video Thriller, perhaps the first major music video made in the form that we know today.

Rest in peace, Michael.

It was reported that he died in the ICU of a heart attack. This is wrong. He was in the children's ward having a stroke.

I may be doing this purely for my own benefit but on the off chance that someone else enjoys them here is another.

Spoiler:

Farrah Fawcett dies and is sent to heaven. She is greeted by God.
"Farrah, you have led a great life and many will mourn your passing. I will grant you one wish."
Farrah tells God that she just wants all the children on earth to be safe from harm.
God thinks about this and then snaps his fingers. "Your wish is granted, I just killed Michael Jackson."

Good to know. I will make this a daily-ish post until I run out of jokes. At the very least I am making one person laugh maniacally at another person's pain and anguish.

I thought you were going to make a reference to his duet with Elton John: "Don't Let Your Son Go Down On Me..."

What's the difference between Michael Jackson and a Wal-Mart bag? (while we are talking about Wal-Mart)

One is white, made of plastic and dangerous for children to play with and the other holds your groceries.

If any of these jokes offend anybody, remember, I am not writing them, just finding them and laughing. LOL

Here is a great, very offensive and tasteless joke for the weekend.

What are Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson getting for christmas?

Spoiler:
Patrick Swayze.

Since Michael Jackson was mostly plastic, they decided to melt him down and recycle him.

Spoiler:
They turned him into Lego's so little boys could play with his parts for a change.
