Re: Terminator 4 or Night at the Museum 2?
The only one I'm taking is Terminator: Salvation and I'm only taking it in a two week cutoff format. I've been sold on Wolverine, so thats where I'm putting my chips. Since its only two weeks, I'm taking the one with more days of eligibility.
That's where I stand...

Terminator will dissapoint, I can't see it doing more than $150 total.
NatM2 will also not match the take of the original, but it should easily win the long weekend, before taking huge drops.

Wow we are all over the map with these predictions. Interesting to see which of us are right and which are full of shit. LOL

And that is why I posted the topic. I am obviously backing Terminator. This isn't going to be anything like Terminator 3. This going to be (I hope) Batman Begins to T3s Batman and Robin. I expect it to be a good film. Terminator 3 was an unnecessary continuation to the story that was T1 and 2. This is a totally different type of movie, and Christian Bale is a big draw. I think it will win, have a 100 million 5 day, on its way to 260 total, while NATM 2 will have a 60 million 4 day, on its way to 175 total

I am going to go with Terminator. They will both be sucessful but I Think Terminator will take it.

I don't know what's going to happen with either in the longrun, but I took T4 for the first two weeks and I think it'll at least win the short race.

A month in, T4 is barely above $100M. Feels good to be right.
