Would anyone be interested in reading/commenting on a short script I wrote?
So, I just recently began preliminary work for a project that a friend of mine is trying to put together in which she is planning to make 13 short horror films by Halloween. She wants to do a whole bunch of different styles; Zombie, Slasher, Ghost, etc. I have been watching loads of crappy old horror films from the 50s for inspiration and just finished a script last night. We're going to be having a meeting to go over some script ideas soon, and I was wondering if some of you guys would like to read my first draft and maybe give me any comments you might have...I'm always second-guessing myself, which causes me to scrap potentially great script ideas, but seeing as this is only about 15 pages it'll be easier for me to spruce up. And it's an idea I've always wanted to make into a feature eventually, and positive feedback would let me know if I'm on the right track.

Sure send me a copy of the script. I can't tell much about grammar or punctuation, but I do have other talents that come in handy when it comes to script analyzing. Email addy in spoiler tags.

It's alright, I'm kind of a stickler when it comes to punctuation/spelling and grammar. I'm strictly looking for story continuity/originality input just to see if there's stuff I missed on my read throughs. Maybe see if you guys have ideas to make it tighter or more fluid.
Do you have Final Draft by any chance, JackO?
If not, which format would be best for you?

I just sent it as a PDF...and for anyone interested it's called The Hand that Killed Everyone, a tribute to the creature features of the 50s.

Yup, PDF works great for me! I'll send the comments when I'm all done perusing.

I would read it if it doesn't take long for me to download it. fmwross2@yahoo.com.
