The Hangover will finish with over 240 Mil and be placed no lower than 6th for the year. HP will probably beat it and Avatar is a long shot. Crazy.

Keyser, our slates are the same except I took Avatar over Wolverine. If Avatar makes 180 Mil I beat you, if not you beat me. We both have to beat SS and I am not sure on those odds though. He didn't take Terminator but has Chipmunks and Avatar. If Alvin flops, or makes less than 120 Mil, we are golden. Razz

Some estimations for final numbers:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - $390-396 M, I still don't think it will surpass $400 M
Up - $285-287 M;it is already the 2nd most successful Pixar movie after Finding Nemo!
The Hangover - $260-265 M - wow, wow, wow !!! whoever thought of these numbers; and I thought that I'm more than optimistic with my $125M projected
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - $190-196 M - I still don't think it will surpass $200 M
The Proposal - min 142-145, max $160-165 M - more than I thought
Public Enemies - $90-95 M (too bad for leestu and jas_8382)
Bruno - $60-65 M (bad news for BanksIsDaFuture and leestu)

We all have chosen Harry Potter (like Transformers 2 also) so it won't matter; but it matters that this last installment can break $317,575,550 of Harry Potter & Sorcerer's Stone, the record of the franchise...

Despite the surge of ticket prices, this year has been really boring. A lot of the year's biggest movies weren't really that great (despite the greatness of Star Trek and Up) and the year's biggest film (Transformers) needed just one week to assure its spot as the year's biggest. In short, it's 2007 again.

If you make it to Napoli, be sure to take the hydrofoil over to Capri or take a drive down the Amalfi Coast. I have heard that Milano is worth skipping, but try as hard as you can to get to Venice. We were there last Summer and loved it.

I haven't done an update earlier because not much was changed: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=rL4fgQjngFYZrP1nGmKSn-w&single=true&gid=3&output=html

We have only 8 movies to be released. I propose the end of November for the next update because of their release dates...

The biggest surprise is The Hangover, 4th place until now. A movie not chosen by anyone. As well as The Proposal - 10th place until now.
