Actually, it's the top 5%. Sixty players means three people get IMs in Round One.

And, you know, now that I think about it, I never announced how the vote went on those "new issues", so let me announce how those went.

Issue 1: Expand tournament to twelve rounds? Answer: overwhelmingly no

Issue 2: Make the early cuts harder? Answer: overwhelmingly no

Issue 3: Damn, I can't remember what this issue was, but option A narrowly beat out option B. Perhaps someone can remind me?

Issue 4: Limit people to one IM over the course of a tournament, let them amass as many as they can, or only have them earn another when they've used their first one? Answer: A person CAN earn additional IMs over a tournament, but can never possess more than one at a time

Shrykespeare (yay!) takes the lead, the first first place I've ever enjoyed this late in a round in a Super League. (yay!) I hope an IM awaits me, but who else will grab one with me?

Meanwhile, things are looking bleak for two of our lady competitors, lillylovelost and Alyson, as they are buried deep in the red with not many dollars left to spend...

Shryke, I dropped Obsessed for Last House on the Left in Round 3.

Can I check a slate listing. For my Childhood Cash Round 2 it says I have spent 21 dollars and have 18 Mil. The list I have for that slate is not the same, at least the money spent and BO is not the same. What I had in my slate is this;

I am happy to claim my first-ever victory in the Super Leagues. geezer also earns an early IM, as do Spectre and J-Man, who both edge out SWarehouse by less than $60,000.

becs, lillylovelost, Alyson, Donte77, Chienfantome, Ron Burgundy and undeadmonkey get the axe, as does chugsthemonkey, who loses a very close race to rasgriz.

With a month to go in Round Two, Graywolf maintains his lead, but how MvA plays out will be a big factor in who gets an IM this time around.

Damn.. That's a very good list of players that's been eliminated.

And I got a feeling I'm going to be next.

Thats what I was thinking.

In hindsight this was perhaps my very worst slate ever. I picked Bride Wars, Jonas Brother, Race to Witch Mountain, and Watchmen. Every single one underperformed by about half of the estimates. Crap.

Fortunately Donte, a lot of us got swept up in the hype for those films...If only we all knew to pick Coraline, Taken, Paul Blart, and Madea Goes to Jail...But that's what makes this game so interesting.
