I really like the Search box for the forums. I think one thing you should do if you can is make it so we can fit more posts on one page.
Oh, and love the emoticons.

Is anyone else delighted to see that we have abandoned the FM forums for here. It really is giving FM the finger for their pathetic attempt to appease us by keeping the forums open. We are in total control now and despite its awkwardness I am delighted with that.

I created a movie trailer thread in the "Tracking and Estimates" section. Trailers brought to you by Apple (I want an Apple for when I move out of my parents' house).

Granny Smith or Golden Delicious? I can probably send you one now, although I can't guarantee cheap postage from NZ.
And I'm pretty sure Apple do not sponsor charity cases for their laptops....

I want one with lots of memory and lots of power, but not too expensive. Also might want some sound mixing and sound editing software. I've been wanting to do some new edits of films (such as a retro Sky High, a less teen-pop version of Twilight, a version of Scooby-Doo closer to James Gunn's screenplay and a less emo version of Snakes On A Plane as well extended cuts of Simpsons episodes).

I wouldn't say that I'm delighted, but I'm pleased that we've been able to get so much momentum over here. I'm just grateful that Brenda and the others didn't do what many others would have typically done: pulled the plug without a moments notice and left everyone involved in total limbo: no more updates, no more page, no more forums, no guaranteed way to track down other members and give them the chance to carry on something here. I feel bad that their forums are all but emptied, but I'm grateful we were given the chance to pull this together.
And I guess I wish they'd been open and honest earlier about the trouble they were having. If they'd told us, we could have helped out. Look at what Barca has been able to do here! It might come across as cold-blooded that we were able to so quickly set up an alternate, but we only did it because the remaining option was oblivion, and that was/is no option. We've got our destiny in our own hands here and that does feel good.

under profile/preferences you have to check a box that says "always add signature". Took me a while too.

Re: So? What does everyone think?
I had a thought... Other forums I've been a part of in the past had personal forums. They were a spot where each member (there they had to pay for it) could start a blog or whatnot. They'd be named by the member (Donte77's Torture Chamber, SilverSurfer19's Home Planet, etc...) and they would be made a moderator of their own forum. I think it'd be even more helpful here as a tool for keeping track of the different slates you have as well as personal things such as your top 100. I always wanted my own personal forum and those bastards tried to make me pay for it.

Good ring to it, but I don't want people to come in here and think that I'm a Bush-man.
Got a few for you:
Buscemi's Bobbleheadland
Buscemi's Woodchipper Heaven
Buscemi's Crazy Eyes
Buscemi's Diamond Heist Planning Area (this one needs work)
Buscemi's Cast of Crazy Characters

That's not a bad idea. Of course coming from our idea man W, we should expect it.
Although giving me a forum and making me a moderator is just asking for trouble...

Re: So? What does everyone think?
Bots are how the search engines collect data. They search through words on the site and then that is how they rank the google pages for a specific search. If we have had a google and a yahoo bot that means we could possibly start showing up on searches for movies games. That is cool.
(I only know this because of working at an internet website, bots are free advertising through search pages so we have to know how to get listed higher without spamming the bot which is bad)

Wooh! I made it! My first post...I am both amazed and elated that we got this all together so quickly! Although I didn't post on the boards all that much, I did frequent them often and feel like I am among friends...plus that game was so addicting, sometimes I felt completly consumed by it! Haha, well here's to many more seasons to come! (and I'll try to post more often) Now to play around with some avatars...

Glad you made it over here Mannix. I'd seen your name in different leagues but it is nice to finally meet you. Welcome to the new Fantaverse.

Re: So? What does everyone think?
Hey Barca/W/Buscemi, I was wondering... when the Super Leagues start again in January, is it possible for it to have its own special thread? At the moment, I'm not sure where to post updates/results: separately in the Ultimate and Box Office threads, the "More Games" thread, or what...
Please advise.
