Yeah but God doesn't like teams that cheat my team out of their rightful trip to the AFC championship game by paying off refs not to call Delay of Game Penalties on them. That and Ray Lewis is not Kurt Warner when it comes to the mentioning God at every possible moment.

yeah it is funny that I don't like either of them and its for the same reason. LOL

If there is a god, he doesn't give a fuck about who wins a football game. If he does, that reinforces my disdain for a supreme being who is that bored.

God also doesn't seem to like teams that turn the ball over 3 times inside the oppnents 20 yard line. Maybe that's why he turned a blind eye towardas that uncalled elay of Game penalty. That, and the fact that on the next play the Ravens gained enough yards that even had they needed to go an additonal 5 because of the penalty, they still would have made it.

I'll take Troy Polamalu's God over Ray Lewis' and Kurt Warners' any day.

Yes, because I'm sure they would have played the same defense and the exact same play would have occurred if they would have enforced the actual rule. Don't mention that the best player on the team that was killing the ravens didn't play the entire second half. But yeah, those fumbles were heart-breaking. It really still hurts to think about it. Fucking Alge Crumpler.

What race they are doesn't matter.

I'm a little late on this, but geez, slick reference to Bill Simmons (or some other Page 2 columnist) with the "never bet against God and puppies," there. (Maybe it was DJ Gallo?)

Geez,

There's no question losing Johnson was the proverbial stake to the heart for the Titans. He was just ripping the Ravens D to shreds in ways that Willie Parker only wished that he could have. If it makes you feel any better, I have had to sit through 4 AFC Championship losses in our own stadium in the last 15 years. Absolutely nothing worse than watching a visiting team celebrate on your turf especially with it was the F'n Patriots twice.

Well I am sure it is a terrible thing for you poor Steelers fans but you can stop crying now. I am a Detroit Lions fan.

Crying or Very sad

I haven't been able to say that without shame since Barry retired...

geezer9687 wrote:Never bet against the team that has "No one believed in us but the guys in the locker room!" You can not bet against this Cardinals team, they have too much in their favor!

Damn skippy, geeze. There is NOTHING more satisfying and gratifying then watching all the national sports commentators, from ESPN to NBC to Fox, just watch with slack-jawed, dumbstruck amazement as the Worst Playoff Team Ever proved them all wrong.

One of the die-hard fans, commenting on the number of people only NOW jumping on the Cardinals' bandwagon, was quoted in a local paper as saying "Bandwagon? We don't have a 'bandwagon'. Don't need one, don't want one. If it took you THIS long to get on it, then you're probably not from Arizona". Couldn't have said it better myself.

This is just like in 2001 when the D'Backs went into the World Series against the most tried-and-true baseball franchise ever, and prevailed. I don't know if anyone's won more Super Bowls than the Steelers, but there aren't many franchises whose history of success is as lengthy as Pittsburgh's. Should be a great game.

Do they still have a team in Detroit? I thought they folded up when Barry retired.

Steelers and Cowboys are tied with 5. Looking for one more to make it a 6-pack. It will definitely be a great game. The Unstoppable Force Vs. The Immovable Object.

Can we make an exemption for me being on the bandwagon, and make it a less negative designation, considering that:

1. my fandom is only a proxy for my preferred team, the Packers, who had an awful season,
2. I jumped on before the playoffs even started because I thought they were a sleeper, not after all the 'upsets,' and
3. It's not like the Cardinals were completely unknown to me; I knew their offense was powerful because I had Boldin on one of my fantasy football teams this year and Fitzgerald on the other.

Sound fair? Very Happy

That is why I became a San Diego Chargers fan a few years ago when they drafted Drew Brees out of Purdue. I had to at least have a team that could have a winning season once a decade or so...

Check your Driver's License

I definitely removed mine. I suggest you do the same. Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was...picture and all! Thanks HomelandSecurity!

Go to the web site, and check it out. It's unbelievable! Just enter your name, city and state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked 'Please Remove'. This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement. Please notify all your friends so they can protect themselves, too.
Believe me they will thank you for it.
