Looks like AC/DC will be playing in Moncton NB this summer which is three hours away from me. I'm thinking road trip. Geezer and Tranny aren't that far away either.

wont be able to afford and i am not big into AC/DC i am going to the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival on April 18 in Worcester and Mastodon on May 7 at the House Of Blues in Boston. maybe Rise Against at the end of July if i get more money. Waiting for The Mayhem Fest Tickets go on sale also slated for August 4 here in MA.

Tranny, I'm hoping to go to that Rise Against/Rancid show in Boston.

Are the Dave Matthews Band really that desperate for money? Because those gigs and venues seem rather small.

Sad but true facts: I have never been to an actual concert and I almost never listen to today's artists.

Most of my favorite artists stopped recording long ago and therefore it's impossible to see them in concert. That and almost no good even comes here (I considered seeing Weird Al Yankovic in concert last summer when he came to Springfield but I chose not to. I still sort of kick myself.).

Weird Al was actually my first concert back when I was in like 7th grade. It was awesome.

the venues with DMB are almost all huge corporate-owned amphitheaters and arenas.. seeing as i hate DMB and corporate venues, i'm pleased as punch that Old Crow Medicine Show is headlining the Austin show..........at a BBQ joint
