They were actually sued by the Rolling Stones for ripping off "This may be the last time", and The Verve was forced to pay them royalties.

In a different song, I assume? Because I don't think "Bitter Sweet Symphony" and "This May Be the Last Time" sound alike...

What is totally ironic though is did the Rolling Stones really need money from The Verve?

From the site you posted...

The Stones' former manager Allen Klein, who owns the publishing rights to The Stones version of "The Last Time," received extensive royalties, as "Bittersweet Symphony" was a radio hit and even used in a Nike commercial.

Due to the lawsuit between The Rolling Stones and The Verve, The Verve never received money or proper credit for the success of Bittersweet Symphony.

Bittersweet, indeed.

I saw Matt and Kim 2 years ago opening for Against Me! and they were a fucking riot! Awesome little band that many people are getting exposed to thanks to the recent Bacardi commercial and their song Daylight. Really just good catchy music that puts me in a great mood. I just got both their albums and I strongly recommend them. Check em out:

Look up lesson learned for a naked version, censored of course, but still stripped down.

So I mentioned in one of the rating threads that I recently saw (and loved) Smokin' Aces, well I've had some of the music stuck in my head for awhile knew it was good stuff so i went looking for the soundtrack... well go figure the soundtrack is Clint Mansell (Prodigy does a song too, awesomesauce), so here you go.

This was a great music video back when I was younger (MTV, 1999):

Will Smith is such a goofball in this video. Also, Eva Mendes is apparently in this video.
