Why do the characters look like something from a Hunter S. Thompson compilation?

Awesome. Alice in Wonderland as it should look; like a bad acid trip. LOL

Re: First Look: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
Alice In Wonderland should look like this:

Not like this:

Someone should tell Tim Burton to stop making movies for emos and start making movies like Beetlejuice and Pee-Wee's Big Adventure again. Hollywood sure could use more movies with Michael Keaton comedy roles and movies about cross-country misadventures featuring missing bikes.

Re: First Look: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
I think Tim Burton needs to stay away from remaking anything. He destroyed possibly one of the best movies ever with willy wonka and now he's sure to ruin another classic. The only way I plan on seeing this is if it is done in the Adult, Paranoid, Drug Trip etc. way that it was written.
Also they have an updated gallery on comingsoon with alot more recent pics all of which just further my believe that it's going to be shit. Looks like they put everyone in front of those distortion mirrors like at the carnival

I'm actually reading it right now, and seeing all the pictures makes me so excited to see this! I usually prefer my Depp/Burton seperate, but I'll definitely be there at the midnight showing dressed as the cheshire cat.

Re: First Look: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
ok the trailer just got released. you can find it on facebook or DHD has it on the first page and I gotta say it looks like shit. the oversized heads just look stupid instead of cool and even though johnny depp should be the creepiest dude around I was very underwhelmed by his character. The only things that looked good were the choice in alice and the cat.

I actually really liked the teaser trailer. Adequately warped, as it should be.

I don't remember Jerry Lewis being in Alice In Wonderland.
