good call transformers2, i too thought star trek would not have been better than those that you mentioned. And i just watched Tales of The Black Frieghter the other night, its awesome! Though i really liked it in the graphic novel, its very much the same in cartoon version, goes for anout 20 mins and is pretty much copied word for word so Snyder did that justice too.

PS- interesting list becs, im amped for a couple of those

Wow, completely forgot that I saw Hurt Locker and Moon. I would replace Watchmen and Wolverine with those two.

My top 5 so far (order sometimes changes, but the films always stays the same):

1. Drag Me To Hell
2. Inglourious Basterds
3. District 9
4. Bruno
5. The Hurt Locker

Honorable mention: Moon.

I've seen a bunch of stuff this year, a little behind last year in the theater though (about 20 so far), but I only wanted to include stuff I was really into. Plus, I forget what year movies came out in if I didn't see it in theaters (like I think Let the Right One In is technically 08 here, but if not it would be in my top 5).

Fanboys was better than I expected. I expected 90 minutes of overused cliches of fanboys but instead it actually was rather funny. The best part was easily William Shatner's cameo.
