An Idea Part 3: Same $h!t, Different Thread
Yeah, that part was stupid. Then again, that chick is like the White Female Samuel L Jackson and still has yet to be funny in anything, except for The 40 Year Old Virgin.

Actually, the white female Sam Jackson is Elizabeth Banks. Who else could get Spider-Man, Seabiscuit, Slither and Zach and Miri Make A Porno onto one filmography?

I chose not to include W because I included Seabiscuit (both are dramas based on actual events). I forgot about The Uninvited (but then again, so did everyone else).
I also remembered she was in Invincible (another drama based on actual events) and Meet Bill (the barely released Aaron Eckhart/Jessica Alba comedy).

Elizabeth Banks is totally hot, tranny! I am in agreement. And, adding to her list, she was also on Scrubs, which is actually where I first noticed her.

Jane Lynch is more of the female Udo Kier. Her appearances are usually random and in things that often have little to with each other (Kier appeared in things such as Blood For Dracula, Ace Ventura Pet Detective, a couple of Uwe Boll films and a million B-movies).
Meanwhile, here are some my latest scores.
Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince ***/****
I like the direction that David Yates has taken with this series. Previously, it was up and down but things seemed to have become stable. I guess it works better to have a miniseries director make a film series than several theatrical directors.
Whatever Works ***.5/****
I really enjoyed this film. The teaming of Woody Allen and Larry David helps form of a sort of a super team and David manages to help Allen get it back after many years of mediocre comedies. Also, Evan Rachel Wood was great against type as Larry David's wife.
Orphan ***/****
In a way, this is The Omen for the 21st century. But it is also a surprisingly fresh Hollywood horror film that is like Italian giallo and the modern era of Spanish horror. The leads are good in their roles and the girl is entertainingly creepy and scary. The twist is also really good and reminded me of something from a European horror film.

Well, it's a better and more entertaining twist than
Also it was fun to have

Moon- 5/10 The ONLY reason to see this is Sam Rockwell. It was pretty much pure garbage from beginning to end. There's no suspense, the 'Twist?' is ruined 20 minutes into the movie and it plays like a music video. It would've been incredible as a short, but was just too familiar.

The twist in Orphan is among the stupidest things i have seen/read about. That movie seems like a steaming pile of shit.

But the whole point is that the film doesn't build to some empty twist like a M Night shamalan movie. The twist is over and done with so the film gets to the heart of the situation, something rarely seen in sci-fi these days. It's not about the twist, it's about the emotional impact on the character/s after the twist.
