I'd say the most useless director's cuts are any straight-to-video film that didn't have a previous version to begin with (example: titles from ripoff artists The Asylum).

The FYE here closed a few years back. The last movies I got there were Monster (2-disc), Slither and Land Of The Dead (unrated).
