Buscemi's 3,000th Post

Yes people, this is my 3,000th post. Getting into it with everyone has kind of wore me out so I don't know what to post for Number 3,000. I guess I will keep it short since people seem to be getting sick of me.

So, here are some of my most anticipated films for September to December of 2009.

9 (September 9th)

I will see anything with Jennifer Connelly (even her bad movies) but the rest of the cast is great and the original short film is also worth a look. This better not disappoint.

Also for those people who live in California or Arizona, this will be in the D-Box motion format. Lucky bastards.

Pandorum (September 18th)

I like the idea for this movie. A phantom illness killing 6,000 passengers on a spaceship and only the awakened survivors can figure out what happened to those passengers. It looks like a combination of Alien, Cube, Saw and Leviathan. Hopefully it doesn't get buried in the glut of other horror films opening this fall.

Shutter Island (October 2nd)

Martin Scorsese adapting a Dennis Lehane story with Leonardo DiCaprio. Do I need to say anything else?

Toy Story Double Feature (October 2nd)

I've seen Toy Story in a theatre but I've never seen the sequel in a theatre. Both will be in 3-D. Will I be there? Hell yes!

A Christmas Carol (November 6th)

Other than Contact, the films of Robert Zemeckis have never failed to impress me. And with this one, he's got Jim Carrey as Scrooge with some fantastic looking 3-D. This can't possibly fail.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox (November 13th)

I love watching a good animated feature. And I love watching a good animal film. Usually the two don't mix well but Wes Anderson seems to have found the perfect mix by creating something that looks enjoyable for adults and children rather than just children. I hope this doesn't totally fail like some types of different directions do.

Invictus (December 11th)

Clint Eastwood is one of the best directors in this decade and of all-time. Morgan Freeman is one of the best actors of this decade and of all-time. I'm already sold.

Avatar (December 18th)

James Cameron returns to sci-fi and in 3-D to boot. Depending on if it's the next Titanic, the next Terminator 2 or just the next Watchmen, I'll be there on opening day.

Well, that's 3,000.

Wow, no one cares about my brief shining moment of vanity. Oh well, I don't like vanity anyway.

So what am I spending my day doing? Playing Mobsters 2 on Facebook and trying to get other people to play. I'm trying to get access to Miami and two-man missions so I have to resort to asking complete strangers on the Mobsters website.

And I apologize for pissing you off (on Cellular and I Love You, Man). But doesn't part of this site involve constructive criticism?
